I am a very active athlete in my mid 40's and have been through three surgeries and at least five physical therapists. I almost gave up all hope of returning to an active life again until I went there.
I came across this website when looking for a therapist and decided to give them a try. I've been to other physical therapy clinics for other injuries and they don't even come close. I saw Carl and he got straight to the point. He told me what my problem was and why it kept occuring. He showed me the exercises I needed to do to relieve pain and prevent from coming back. He was very flexible with my appointment times. He relieved my pain in 2 visits, got me back to my regular activities in 2 weeks, and back to my sports in less than 1 month. I even looked forward to my therapy sessions as he made the sessions fun and stress free.
I have been back playing soccer, golf, and basketball without any problems for the past 3 months.
I can only say that it was Divine Intervention that I went to Gemini Physical Therapy. After my physician gave me a list of therapists, I became anxious as to who was the best one for my condition. After going down the list I called Gemini and spoke with Jackie. She was extremely pleasant and understanding of my needs, which is something I am not used to. Plus, she was able to get me in for an appointment the next day! Other offices were scheduling out at least two weeks. I’ve been to other facilities and was never pleased with their treatment or interaction with me. I always felt rushed and never got the attention I needed. So I was skeptical at first. At least until I had my first visit with Carl who is a positive, energetic and upbeat man. He identified my problem and the cause of it as well as identified other areas of problems I was having. He formulated a plan of care and immediately put my anxiety to rest. Don’t let him fool you, he may act like a Drill Sergeant but he has the kindness of a Saint and your best interest at heart. Everyone else at Gemini Physical Therapy is great as well. They are all upbeat, positive and extremely knowledgeable. They knew exactly what my condition and plan of care was and they were always positive and fun to be around making my therapy session go by quickly. I’m now discharged from therapy but have an exercise program and instructions to follow. If I get stuck, I can always call or stop by to ask a question as I saw many patients do while I was there. My medical needs were met by the staff of Gemini Physical Therapy and I recommend them to anyone reading this.
Carl restored my confidence in my ability to return to all of my sports.
