I LOVE longhorns food, however I had a bar tender tonight, Maura, who rushed my friend and I out. When we first got there she seemed to be in a disgruntled mood to begin with. After ordering and picking at our appetizers and chatting, she told my friend and I at 9:50 pm that she needed to take our dishes because the back of the house will get angry at her. I was not finished but at that point I did not want to continue eating, I was so frustrated. My friend and i are both experienced in the food service industry and felt uncomfortable by her poor service and her making us feel like we would be the reason the back of the house would be upset with her. Then, she came back about 20 minutes later and told us she needed us to cash out so she can get her drawer counted. I understand closing time is closing time, but we were clearly almost finished dining and just trying to finish our day in a relaxing manner. It was only 15 minutes past closing time and I felt that she could have allowed us to finish our drinks in peace without feeling like a burden.
My parents have been going here every year for both of their birthdays and anniversarys. The people there, well I can't say enough about how pleasant and kind they always have been to my parents. Today they celebrated their 63 wedding anniversary there. My parents couldn't say enough about their experience there with all the waitresses etc. I just want to thank you all for treating my parents, and others (I'm sure) like they are special. Thank you for giving them the cake and ice cream and if the people read this who were working tonight and had the privilege of talking with them, God Bless you for giving them their special day ❤️
I always love coming here and getting the ribeye just a good cut of meat. And for being a casual sit-down restaurant and at dinner time there wasn't a long wait and food and staff were excellent.
Amazing place to go after a weekend of larping. If you've been running around in the woods all weekend running on one solid meal a day and supplementing with granola bars, you need a steak. And as a college student on a budget, I appreciate their more affordable meals. The mashed potatoes always raise my spirits, the steaks are cooked exactly how you ask for it, and the angry orchard is cold. On top of that, they've always taken care of us even though we're a massive crowd. I'm gonna miss this Long Horn in particular
A friend and I went here and it was not as expected. She got a burger and I got a steak.. my steak was supposed to be med-rare and it came out unevenly cooked. It was still mooing in the middle. A few hours after eating it my friend and I became very ill and I then threw it up. My friends burger look nicely cooked with just a little pink just how she likes it but the day after she had diarrhea followed by still feeling ill. They have some serious issues they need to work out here. Possible spoiled meat or cross contamination? We do not know but be cautious eating here. We may just go to Panera bread next time and order bread sticks and salads.
