Had an issue scanning a coupon in the self-checkout today. There were two monitors overseeing the self-checkout lanes. But they were so busy chatting that I couldn't get their attention at first. I finally had my son go get one of them. I explained that I had scanned my coupon and inserted it in the slot but the system didn't acknowledge that it had been inserted in the slot and kept requesting that it be inserted in the slot. After i got her up to speed, she kept asking if I had scanned the coupon and had slid it in the slot. She finally credited me for the coupon, but I could have done without the attitude. I have a BJs 4 miles from my house but I still go to this one as they have a bigger selection, maybe I need to rethink that.
